The Comfort-Aire B-VHP36DA-1 is the largest slim-duct concealed air handler in the VHP cold-climate line, rated at 36,000 BTUH cooling and 42,000 BTUH heating on 208/230V. At 1,060 CFM it is a three-ton ducted unit that can replace a conventional furnace-and-coil in a small home or condition a full commercial suite, entirely hidden above the ceiling. Works on either a single-zone or a multi-zone VHP outdoor unit and keeps heating down to -22°F ambient. Uses R454B lower-GWP refrigerant, carries a 10-year compressor and parts warranty, and is smart-phone capable. Note: no wireless remote is included.
