The Comfort-Aire RAH-183R is a window heat pump for large rooms: it cools at 17,000–17,300 BTUH and reverses to deliver 10,300–12,500 BTUH of heat when the weather turns. Because it moves heat instead of generating it with a resistance element, a heat pump is the more efficient way to add supplemental warmth. It runs on 208/230V power with a 9.9 EER and moves up to 541 CFM — the highest airflow in this lineup. Electronic controls and a wireless remote cover temperature, mode and fan speed, and a window mounting kit is included.
Note: this unit is designed for supplemental heat, not as a primary heating system.
