Counter-depth refrigerators are shallower than standard models, so the cabinet lines up with your countertops instead of sticking out into the kitchen. How counter-depth sizing works
Standard refrigerators are often 30 to 36 inches deep. Counter-depth models are usually closer to 24 to 30 inches deep, measured without the doors and handles. The trade-off is a little less storage space, which most kitchens make up for with smarter shelving and door bins.
